**ATC**  
Artist Trading Card — a small (2.5 x 3.5 inch) handmade trading card.

**Angel**  
A volunteer who sends to a participant whose original partner flaked.

**Coordinator**  
The person who creates and manages a swap.

**Dotee Doll**  
A small handmade fabric doll, typically 4-5 inches tall.

**Ephemera**  
Collectable paper items like vintage postcards, stamps, and labels.

**Flaker**  
Someone who signs up for a swap but doesn't send their item.

**Heart**  
Bonus recognition given with a 5-rating for exceptional swaps.

**Inchie**  
A 1x1 inch piece of artwork, often traded in sets.

**Newbie**  
A new member of the swapping community.

**Non-reciprocal**  
You send to one person and receive from a different person.

**Partner**  
The person you are assigned to send to in a swap.

**Rolo**  
A roll-up organizer, often decorated and filled with small items.

**Star**  
Coordinator recognition earned when 75%+ of participants vote positively.

**Swap**  
An organized exchange of items through the mail.

**Twinchie**  
A 2x2 inch piece of artwork.

**Whimsey Jar**  
A small decorated jar filled with tiny treasures.

**Zentangle**  
A method of creating abstract art using structured patterns.

**Zine**  
A small self-published booklet, often handmade.
